2. July 2025 Updates
- Farewell Meeting for Vicar, Rev. Fr. James Nirappel: Our beloved Vicar, Rev. Fr. James Nirappel, will be transferring to St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Los Angeles on July 1, 2025. He has faithfully served our parish for the past five years, and his presence, prayers, and spiritual guidance have been a great blessing to our community.
To thank him for his dedicated service and bid him farewell, a special meeting was held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, following the 8:30 am Holy Qurbana in the church. During the meeting, the Trustees expressed heartfelt gratitude and presented him with a gift from the church as a token of appreciation. The farewell gathering concluded with a breakfast for Rev. Fr. James and the congregation.
We pray for God's continued blessings on his ministry in his new parish.
- Welcoming Our New Vicar, Rev. Fr. Siby Sebastian MST: Our new Vicar, Rev. Fr. Siby Sebastian MST, will take charge on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. We warmly welcome Rev. Fr. Siby Sebastian to our parish. Let us work together with Rev. Fr. Siby so that our spiritual life may grow in faith each day.
- St. Thomas Day Collection: There will be a special collection on Thursday, July 3, 2025, which supports the missionary activities of the Syro-Malabar Church.
3. Upcoming Events
- Inter-Parish Talent Fest (IPTF) 2025: IPTF 2025 will be held from August 1-3, 2025, in Pearland, Houston. For any questions, please reach out to the event coordinators, Joshua George (469-570-3315) or Aparna Chukkiriyan (972-816-8281).
- Parish Picnic: Our Parish Picnic will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
- 2026 St. Thomas Feast (Thirunnal) Sponsorship: Mathru Jyothis has decided to sponsor and organize the 2026 Thirunnal. A signup sheet is available in the narthex for those who would like to participate.

- Offertory Collection: When placing your offertory collection in the envelope, please ensure that you write your name, Family ID number, and clearly state the intended purpose of your donation.
- Church/Parish Hall Booking: To secure a booking for the church or parish hall for various purposes, individuals must complete the necessary form from the parish trustees' office.
