1. Holy Qurbana
Sunday:
8:30 am: Holy Qurbana in Malayalam
10:30 am: Holy Qurbana in English
Weekdays:
Tuesday through Thursday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am.
Friday: Eucharistic adoration from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm, Confessions from 6:05 pm - 6:40 pm followed by the St. Jude's Novena and Holy Qurbana.
Saturday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Note: Those attending Holy Qurbana are requested to follow CDC guidelines to protect yourselves and others. Please note that the Holy Qurbana Offering Book kept in the church narthex should be used only for writing Holy Qurbana intentions. Please clearly state the intention along with the contact person's name, phone number and what date it is to be offered. Please contact achan for any questions or concerns.
2. July 2023 Highlights
- Inter Parish Talent Fest 2023 (IPTF): This year, the First Prize - The Kuzhippillil Annakutty Joseph Memorial with an ever-rolling trophy was awarded to St. Alphonsa, Coppell. The Second Prize - The Chundattu George Mathew Memorial with an ever-rolling trophy was secured by St. Thomas, Garland. Congratulations to all the winners for their hard work, as well as to everyone who contributed their efforts to support them. Please click the link to view the winners.
- Next Sunday, July 30th at 12:00 pm there will be a meeting of IPTF Regional Coordinators.
- VBS 2023 will commence from Monday, July 24th through Thursday, July 27th, from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. VBS is intended for children from Pre-K through 8th grade. Please contact Sr. Maria Thengumthottam (682) 248-8751 and Silvy Cham (201) 679-1585 with any questions.
- On Sunday, July 30th at 8:30 am, we will be celebrating the Feast of St. Alphonsa. Those who are interested in sponsoring, please contact the trustees.
- One of our long time parishioners is in need of financial assistance for her medical treatment. There will be a second collection for this purpose. Please write "charity" in the check memo and include your family account number. Thank you for your support.

3. Safe Environment
Overcoming the bystander effect: The "bystander effect" is when a person is less likely to take action or intervene in an emergency or harmful situation when there are other people around. The more people that are present to witness the emergency or harmful situation, the less likely it is that any one person will take action. Please click the link to view this week's article.
4. Marriage Prep Course
- The Family Apostolate in Chicago has decided to do the Marriage Preparation Course (Pre-Cana) in person in 2023. Young adults planning to get married, please register for this course. Our St. Thomas parish is hosting the Pre-Cana in August.
