2. June 2026 Updates
- Eucharistic Adoration in spiritual preparation for Parish Feast: As part of the spiritual preparation for our upcoming 10-day Parish Feast (Friday, June 26 through Sunday, July 5), there will be a full day of Eucharistic Adoration on Friday, June 12. Adoration will begin at 9:30 AM, right after morning Holy Qurbana and continue until 6:45 PM. After evening 7 PM Holy Qurbana, Adoration will continue until midnight.
- Parish Feast 2026: Our Parish Feast is celebrated in honor of our Patron Saint, St. Thomas the Apostle, whose Dukhrana Thirunaal (St. Thomas Day) is observed on July 3. This year's 10-day Parish Thirunaal is scheduled from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, July 5.
- The Thirunaal will begin with Kodiyettu on Friday, June 26.
- Cardinal Mar George Koovakad will be the main Celebrant on Saturday, July 4.
- For this year's Parish Thirunaal, we have around 170 Women of our Parish as Presudenthis.
- We will have Novena of St. Thomas for 9 days - from Day 1 to Day 9 (Friday, June 26, to Saturday, July 4).
- Those who would like to be Novena Sponsors ($100), please contact Trustees.
- Also, anyone who would like to sponsor snacks / pachoru for Day 1 to Day 7, please reach out to Trustees.
- Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2026: VBS is a joyful and faith-filled experience that our children look forward to every year. Please register your kids for VBS, as it will be a spiritually enriching and rewarding experience for them. It is also a wonderful opportunity to make new friends, strengthen friendships and build lasting bonds within our parish community. Please see VBS Flyer for more details.
- VBS Date: Monday, June 15, 2026 to Thursday, June 18, 2026, From 5 PM to 8:30 PM.
- Who can Participate: Pre K to Grade 8
- Registration Fee: $50 per Participant and $25 per Volunteers
- Registration for participants is thru ParishOnNet Only. Registration ends on June 7th. If you are facing any technical challenges for registration, please contact Trustees or Secretary.

- CCD Registration for 2026-2027: CCD Registration for the 2026-2027 Academic year is in-Progress. Registration must be completed thru ParishOnNet. Please register your kids for CCD ASAP.
- CCD Registration is Open to students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
- The registration fee is $80 per child.
- Those with outstanding pledge dues through 2025, may not be able to complete CCD Registration. Please use the 'Donate' button on ParishOnNet, input Pledge Due amount, Select Fund '4010-Annual Pledge' and submit pending pledge payment first. Once dues are paid, you should be able to complete CCD Registration.

- St. Thomas Youth Board: We’re excited to launch a new Youth Board as part of restructuring the St. Thomas Youth Group and are looking for young people who are passionate about making a difference. This is a great opportunity to share your ideas, grow as a leader, and help create meaningful programs and activities for the young people in our parish. If you’re interested in serving and helping build something impactful for the future, please complete this St. Thomas Youth Board Interest Form. - Syro-Malabar Jubilee Convention Updates: Registration for the Syro-Malabar Jubilee Convention officially closed on Sunday, May 31, 2026. You can still support our convention by placing ads on Digital Kiosk or in the Jubilee Souvenir.
- Digital Kiosks: Your ad will be displayed on Digital Kiosks which will be played in various church screens, reaching thousands of parishioners daily.

- Publishing the Contributions List: As decided in 2025 General Body Meeting and as agreed by both the previous and current Parish Councils, we will be publishing the Parish membership list along with contribution amounts on Parish Notice boards.
- Church Pledge Payments: We kindly request all parishioners with pending pledges to make their payments as soon as possible. The suggested annual pledge amount is $1,200 per family.

- Annual Parish Picnic on Saturday, September 26: Our Annual Parish Picnic will be on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at One Eleven Ranch Park (2121 E Brand Rd, Garland, TX 75044). There will be food, games, and many other activities to engage with fellow parishioners. It's a great opportunity to meet and greet new members of our parish community. Please mark your calendars.

- Pre Wedding Requirements - Important Notice: As members of the church, the Sacrament of Matrimony is a sacred covenant that requires proper spiritual, canonical and pastoral preparations. In order to ensure all necessary requirements and paperworks are fulfilled in a timely manner, we request the cooperation of families involved.
- Families are requested to contact Vicar immediately after any Nuptial arrangements / Proposals are done.
- Bride-to-be / Groom-to-be is required to meet the Vicar in-person and fill the Pre-Nuptial Form.
- Active Membership in Parish is required for proceeding with Paper-work required for Marriage, Betrothal or Baptism.
- Marriage Preparation Course (PreCana) Completion Certificate is required.
- Baptism Certificate and Confirmation Certificate is required.
- If you need to announce the Marriage Banns before Betrothal, there is another specific form to be filled.
- Contact Information Update on ParishOnNet: Dear Parishioners, please ensure that your contact details—especially your phone number and address—are up to date on ParishOnNet.
