1. Holy Qurbana Schedule
Sunday:
- 8:30 am: Holy Qurbana in Malayalam. CCD at 8:30 am.
- 10:30 am: Holy Qurbana in English.
Weekdays:
- Tuesday through Thursday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am.
- Friday, February 28, 2025 (Commemoration of the Dead): According to Syro-Malabar tradition, the Friday before the 50-day Lent is observed as a day of remembrance for all departed souls.

- 6:00 pm - 6:40 pm: Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession).
- 6:00 pm - 6:50 pm: Eucharistic Adoration, followed by St. Jude's Novena, Holy Qurbana, and Oppisu.
- Saturday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
2. February 2025 Updates
- Bringing a Bible to CCD Class: We encourage all CCD students to bring their Bible to class to help them learn the Bible better.
- Ash Monday: The 50-Day Lenten Season will start on Ash Monday, March 3, 2025. Ash Monday is a day of fasting and obligation. Holy Qurbana will be at 8:30 am and 7:00 pm.
- Inter-Parish Talent Fest (IPTF) 2025: IPTF 2025 is scheduled for August 1-3, 2025, in Pearland, Houston. Registration will close on February 28, 2025, so be sure to complete your registration before the deadline. We encourage you to register and participate. - If any middle school boys are interested in participating in Boys Medley, please register on the church website.
- We need more sign-ups for English Bible reading, open to individuals aged 25-35.
- We need more participants for the Youth Tableau, which is for males and females aged 18-25.

- Sunday, March 2, 2025 – Auditions for English solo songs will begin at 12:00 pm, and auditions for Malayalam solo songs will begin at 4:00 pm.

- Sunday, March 2, 2025 – Auditions for Margam Kali will begin at 10:00 am.

- 2024 Tax Statement: The 2024 tax statement can be printed from ParishOnNet. If you are unable to print your statement, please contact the Kaikkarans in the church office for assistance.
- Church Payments via Zelle: If you choose to make payments to the church via Zelle, please use payst.thomasgarland@gmail.com as the recipient email. Also, include the purpose of the payment and your parish Family ID number to help us accurately identify and process your payment.

3. Upcoming Events
- Youth Camp Registration: Youth camp registration is now open and will close on March 9. Registration is available only through ParishOnNet. The camp will take place from Friday, March 14, to Monday, March 17. For details, please contact Noel Benny at 972-282-0292 or Thomman Shaji at 469-657-9855.
- Lenten Retreat: The 2025 Lenten retreat is scheduled for April 11, 12, and 13. The retreat will be led by Rev. Dr. Thomas Karimundackal, S.J.
- Founding Members' Recognition in the Jubilee Year: 2025 marks the Jubilee year of the Chicago Diocese. There will be a gathering of the founding members of our parish on Sunday, April 27, at 8:30 am Holy Qurbana led by Bishop Emeritus Jacob Angadiath.
- Diocesan Eucharistic Congress: The first ever Syro Malabar Diocesan Eucharistic Congress will take place during Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, 2025, at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Church in Somerset, NJ. We encourage you to register for this event and join others in prayer, reflection, and worship as we celebrate our unity in Christ.
