2. September / October 2025 Updates
- Reciting the Holy Rosary: October is the month of the Rosary, and we will be reciting the Holy Rosary for 10 days, from Thursday, October 2nd, to Saturday, October 11th. CCD children will lead the Rosary each day. We kindly request everyone’s participation in attending the Rosary and Holy Qurbana during these days.

- Saturdays: Rosary at 8:30 am, followed by Holy Qurbana.
- Sundays: Rosary at 8:00 am, followed by First Holy Qurbana, and at 10:15 am followed by Second Holy Qurbana.

- Church Pledge Due Report: All those who have pledges due are kindly requested to pay as early as possible. You can access the pledge due report on ParishOnNet. The pledge due report will be issued by 2nd Sunday of October.
- Eparchial CML Anniversary Celebrations: The 3rd Eparchial CML Anniversary Celebrations will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at St. Alphonsa Syro Malabar Catholic Church, Coppell, Texas. We look forward to great participation from parents and children from our church. We sincerely appreciate all CML coordinators and CML families in advance for your efforts in making this a memorable event.

- CML Church Building Mission: As we celebrate the 25th Jubilee of our Eparchy, the Cherupushpa Mission League (CML) is joyfully leading a mission to build a new church under Shamsabad Diocese in Bhairasamudram village, Andhra Pradesh, India. Contributions from our church towards this project will be handed over to the Bishop by our CML members during the October 4th Anniversary celebrations at Coppell Church.
We request the support of all parish members with contributions of any amount toward this mission work. Contributions can be made via cash, check, credit card, or Zelle (payst.thomasgarland@gmail.com) mentioning CML Church Building Fund. Please include your church account number for tax deduction purposes.
- Silver Jubilee Celebration: The diocesan Silver Jubilee and the Episcopal Ordination Jubilee of Bishop Emeritus Mar Jacob Angadiath will be celebrated on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at our church. We warmly invite everyone to join us for this special celebration. Further details will be provided later.
- St. Thomas Revival: The St. Thomas Revival will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Jubilee Hall. It will be a social gathering to reconnect, revive, and renew our St. Thomas community. Parents are kindly asked to encourage their young adults to participate.

Note: Many of us know that several graduates of our CCD program, now settled in Dallas, aren't returning to our church. Why is that? They may have their own reasons, and perhaps there are changes they’d like to see at St. Thomas.
To address this, we’re inviting all primarily English-speaking youth and adults to the St. Thomas Revival Social Event on November 8, 2025, in Jubilee Hall. This will be an opportunity to discuss why some may not be coming back and explore ideas on what could help bring them back more consistently. Parents, please encourage your children who live in Dallas but attend a Latin church to join us. Young adults, please spread the word to your friends as well. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
- FLAME 2026: FLAME 2026 is a regional conference hosted by DYA South for college/post-graduate age students. It will be held January 2-5, 2026, at Trinity Pines Conference Center in Trinity, Texas (near Houston). Regular registration ends on October 5, 2025, and late registration ends on October 31, 2025. - Mathru Jyothis Charity Fundraising: The St. Thomas Mathru Jyothis Charity Fundraising ONAM SADHYA will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, starting at 11:30 am. Tickets are $25 per person.

- Offertory Collection: When placing your offertory collection in the envelope, please ensure that you write your Family ID number and clearly state the intended purpose of your donation.
- Church/Parish Hall Booking: To secure a booking for the church or parish hall for any purpose, individuals must complete the required form available at the Parish Trustees' Office.
