1. Holy Qurbana Schedule
Sunday:
- 8:30 am: Holy Qurbana in Malayalam. CCD at 8:30 am.
- 10:30 am: Holy Qurbana in English.
Weekdays:
- Tuesday through Thursday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am.
- Friday: Eucharistic Adoration from 6:00 pm to 6:50 pm, followed by St. Jude's Novena and Holy Qurbana. Confession hours are from 5:30 pm - 6:40 pm.
- Saturday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help
2. October 2024 Updates
- Annual Parish Picnic / World Mission Sunday: Thank you to everyone, including our Parish Council members, who made the Parish Picnic and World Mission Sunday (auction and contributions), held this past Saturday and Sunday, a success. We truly appreciate your contributions and support. Special thanks to those who prepared the food on Friday and Saturday. These events were led by our Kaikkarans: Antony Nelluvelil (Tomy), Kurian Mannanal, Mathew John (Raju), and Sunny Kochuparambil. Special thanks to all of them!
- St. Jude's Feast: We will be celebrating St. Jude's Feast on Friday, October 25th at 7:00 pm. If you would like to participate in the Thirunnal offering, please make a $100.00 check payable to the church and submit it, along with your name, to our Kaikkarans.
- Inter Parish Talent Fest (IPTF) 2025: IPTF 2025 will be conducted from August 1-3 in Pearland, Houston. Nobody has volunteered to be a coordinator yet. If you are interested in serving as a coordinator, please submit your name to our Kaikkarans.
- Retreat: An Inner Healing and Deliverance Retreat is scheduled to be held here from Friday to Sunday, December 6-8, 2024. The retreat is led by Rev. Dr. Thomas Vazhacharickal, Director of Nebo Retreat Center, Vagamon, Palai. Pease click the link Flyer to view the flyer.
- ParishOnNet Access: As per the diocesan guidelines, we have initiated the ParishOnNet access for all parishioners. To access ParishOnNet for our church, please click on the ParishOnNet link.
- Offertory Collection: When placing your offertory collection in the envelope, please ensure to write your name and clearly state the intended purpose of your donation.
- Church/Parish Hall Booking: To secure a booking for the church or parish hall for various purposes, individuals must complete the necessary form from the parish trustees' office.
- Church Registration Number: Please include your church registration number on the check as part of the memo when you write checks to the church.
3. Upcoming Events
- CCD Teachers' Dallas Regional Seminar: The Dallas Regional Faith Formation Teachers' (CCD Teachers') one-day seminar is scheduled to be held here on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The seminar is led by Tison Thomas (Secretary of Chicago Diocesan Department of Faith Formation (CCD) and Secretary of Diocesan CML) and Dr. Thomas Mathew (CCD Chicago Diocesan question board chairman and Chicago Diocesan safe environment one of the commissioners).
