1. Holy Qurbana Schedule
Sunday:
- 8:30 am: Holy Qurbana in Malayalam. CCD at 8:30 am.
- 10:30 am: Holy Qurbana in English.
Weekdays:
- Tuesday through Thursday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am.
- First Friday (November 1, 2024): Eucharistic adoration from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Holy Qurbana at 7:00 pm, followed by St. Jude's Novena. Confession hours are from 5:00 pm to 6:40 pm.
- Saturday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
2. October 2024 Updates
- Church Volunteers: All church volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application form. Minor volunteers must also submit a parent consent form and a liability waiver, along with their application. Completed forms should be submitted to Safe Environment coordinators Jins Mathew and Libby Varghese.
- Eparchial Assembly: The second Eparchial Assembly will be held in Chicago from October 28-31, 2024. James achan will be in Chicago from Monday through Thursday (October 28-31, 2024) to attend the assembly. However, as usual, we will have the Holy Qurbana from Tuesday through Thursday at 8:30 am.
- ParishOnNet Access: According to diocesan guidelines, we have initiated access to ParishOnNet for all parishioners. To access ParishOnNet for our church, please click on the ParishOnNet link. You can review your family details and church contribution statements through ParishOnNet. We encourage you to log in to your ParishOnNet account and review your information. - Offertory Collection: When placing your offertory collection in the envelope, please ensure to write your name and clearly state the intended purpose of your donation.
- Church/Parish Hall Booking: To secure a booking for the church or parish hall for various purposes, individuals must complete the necessary form from the parish trustees' office.
- Church Registration Number: Please include your church registration number on the check as part of the memo when you write checks to the church.
3. Upcoming Events
- CCD Teachers' Dallas Regional Seminar: The Dallas Regional Faith Formation Teachers' (CCD Teachers') one-day seminar is scheduled to be held here on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. The seminar is led by Tison Thomas (Secretary of Chicago Diocesan Department of Faith Formation (CCD) and Secretary of Diocesan CML) and Dr. Thomas Mathew (CCD Chicago Diocesan question board chairman and Chicago Diocesan safe environment one of the commissioners).
- Retreat: An Inner Healing and Deliverance Retreat is scheduled to be held here from Friday to Sunday, December 6-8, 2024. The retreat is led by Rev. Dr. Thomas Vazhacharickal, Director of Nebo Retreat Center, Vagamon, Palai. Pease click the link Flyer to view the flyer.
