- 8:30 am - Rosary, followed by Holy Qurbana, and Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Please note: the 10 days of Rosary prayer will conclude this Saturday.

- 10:30 am - Holy Qurbana in English.
2. October 2025 Updates
- Reciting the Holy Rosary: October is the month of the Rosary, and we have begun reciting the Holy Rosary for 10 days, from Thursday, October 2, to Saturday, October 11. The CCD children lead the Rosary each day. Please see below for the assigned dates for each grade. We kindly request everyone’s participation in praying the Rosary and attending the Holy Qurbana during these days.

- Eparchial CML Anniversary Celebrations: We had a wonderful 3rd Eparchial CML Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, Coppell, Texas. Our heartfelt thanks to all the children, parents, and parishioners who participated and supported the event. We contributed $4,001 toward the CML Church Building Project under Shamsabad Diocese in Bhairasamudram village, Andhra Pradesh, India.
- House Visits by Our Vicar: Our Vicar, Rev. Fr. Siby Sebastian, will begin visiting parishioners' homes starting this week. He will start with the homes of senior members. Please let him know your availability so he can schedule a convenient date and time. You may call him at 346-270-0262 to arrange this.

- He is also available to bring Holy Communion to anyone who is sick at home.
- Safe Environment Training: There will be a Safe Environment Training session for new volunteers next Sunday, October 12, 2025, after the first Holy Qurbana.
- Car Wash by High School Youth Council: Our high school youth council will hold a car wash next Sunday, October 12, 2025, to raise funds for their activities. Parents, please sign up in the Jubilee Hall if interested. For further details, please click the link to view the flyer:

- Mathru Jyothis Charity Fundraising: The St. Thomas Mathru Jyothis Charity Fundraising ONAM SADHYA will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, starting at 11:30 am. Tickets are $25 per person.
- World Mission Sunday: World Mission Sunday will be observed on October 19, 2025. There will be only one Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, and no CCD classes that day. After the Holy Qurbana, an auction will take place, so please remember to bring your contributions and auction items. Let us offer our prayers and support for missionaries around the world.
- Certificate Ceremony for Theology Graduates: We have a batch of theologians who have completed their course. There will be a certificate ceremony for our Theology graduates on Sunday, October 19, 2025, after the first Holy Qurbana. Let us come together in prayer and support to celebrate this important achievement in their spiritual journey.
- Church Pledge Due Report: All those who have pledges due are kindly requested to pay as early as possible. You can access the pledge due report on ParishOnNet. The pledge due report will be issued by 2nd Sunday of October.
- Silver Jubilee Celebration: The diocesan Silver Jubilee and the Episcopal Ordination Jubilee of Bishop Emeritus Mar Jacob Angadiath will be celebrated on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at our church. We warmly invite everyone to join us for this special celebration. Further details will be provided later.
- Sacred Heart Cemetery - Special Promotional Sale: Sacred Heart Cemetery officials have informed us that a special promotional sale of burial spaces is ongoing until the end of October 2025. A 14% discount is available, along with up to 60 months of interest-free financing on a 10% down payment. 3. Upcoming Events
- St. Thomas Revival: The St. Thomas Revival will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Jubilee Hall. It will be a social gathering to reconnect, revive, and renew our St. Thomas community. Parents are kindly asked to encourage their young adults to participate.

Note: Many of us know that several graduates of our CCD program, now settled in Dallas, aren't returning to our church. Why is that? They may have their own reasons, and perhaps there are changes they’d like to see at St. Thomas.
To address this, we’re inviting all primarily English-speaking youth and adults to the St. Thomas Revival Social Event on November 8, 2025, in Jubilee Hall. This will be an opportunity to discuss why some may not be coming back and explore ideas on what could help bring them back more consistently. Parents, please encourage your children who live in Dallas but attend a Latin church to join us. Young adults, please spread the word to your friends as well. We look forward to hearing your thoughts!
- FLAME 2026: FLAME 2026 is a regional conference hosted by DYA South for college/post-graduate age students. It will be held January 2-5, 2026, at Trinity Pines Conference Center in Trinity, Texas (near Houston). Regular registration ends on October 5, 2025, and late registration ends on October 31, 2025. - Church Payments via Zelle: If you choose to make payments to the church via Zelle, please use payst.thomasgarland@gmail.com as the recipient email. Also, include the purpose of the payment and your parish Family ID number to help us accurately identify and process your payment.
- Offertory Collection: When placing your offertory collection in the envelope, please ensure that you write your Family ID number and clearly state the intended purpose of your donation.
- Church/Parish Hall Booking: To secure a booking for the church or parish hall for any purpose, individuals must complete the required form available at the Parish Trustees' Office.
