1. Holy Qurbana Schedule
Sunday, March 30, 2025:
- 8:30 am: Holy Qurbana in Malayalam. There will be no CCD at 8:30 am.
- Due to the General Body Meeting, there will be only one Holy Qurbana on Sunday, March 30, at 8:30 am. There will be no Holy Qurbana at 10:30 am.
Weekdays:
- Monday through Thursday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am.

- 6:00 pm - 6:40 pm: Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession).
- 6:00 pm - 6:50 pm: Eucharistic Adoration, followed by St. Jude's Novena, Holy Qurbana, and the Way of the Cross.
- Saturday, March 29, 2025: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
2. March 2025 Updates
- Lenten Season: The 50-Day Lenten Season began on Ash Monday, March 3, 2025. The Holy Qurbana will be celebrated daily throughout the Lenten Season. On Fridays, the Way of the Cross will be held after the Holy Qurbana.
- Retreat for 4th to 12th Grade CCD Students: Under the leadership of the Chicago Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA), a retreat for 4th to 12th grade CCD students is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. We encourage parents to send their children to be part of this special retreat, which will help them grow in faith.
- General Body Meeting: The General Body Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 10:00 am. Parish members in good standing who wish to propose any topics for the agenda should submit them to our Vicar, Rev. Fr. James Nirappel, by Friday, March 28, 2025.
- 40 Hours of Adoration During the Lenten Season: The 40 hours of adoration will begin on Thursday, April 10, at 2:00 am, and continue until Friday, April 11, at 6:00 pm, followed by the retreat. We invite you to participate and encourage you to sign up on the form available in the Narthex.
- Lenten Retreat: The 2025 Lenten retreat is scheduled for April 11, 12, and 13 and will be led by Rev. Dr. Thomas Karimundackal, S.J. We invite you to join us for this time of prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal.
- Inter-Parish Talent Fest (IPTF) 2025: IPTF 2025 will be held from August 1-3, 2025, in Pearland, Houston. For any questions, please reach out to the event coordinators, Joshua George (469-570-3315) or Aparna Chukkiriyan (972-816-8281).
3. Upcoming Events
- Honoring Our Founding Members in the Jubilee Year: The year 2025 marks the Jubilee Year of the Chicago Diocese. To honor our parish’s founding members, a special gathering will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, during the 8:30 am Holy Qurbana, celebrated by Bishop Emeritus Jacob Angadiath.
- Diocesan Eucharistic Congress: The first ever Syro Malabar Diocesan Eucharistic Congress will take place during Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, 2025, at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Church in Somerset, NJ. We encourage you to register for this event and join others in prayer, reflection, and worship as we celebrate our unity in Christ. - First Holy Communion: The Solemn First Holy Communion for the children will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 am.

- 2024 Tax Statement: The 2024 tax statement can be printed from ParishOnNet. If you are unable to print your statement, please contact the Kaikkarans in the church office for assistance.
