1. Holy Qurbana Schedule
8:30 am: Holy Qurbana in Malayalam and CCD. April 7th Sunday is Pudunayar/First Sunday after Easter/Divine Mercy.
10:30 am: Holy Qurbana in English.
Tuesday through Thursday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am.
- First Friday (April 05, 2024): Eucharistic adoration from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Holy Qurbana at 7:00 pm, followed by St. Jude's Novena. Confessions from 5:30 pm - 6:40 pm.
- Saturday: Holy Qurbana at 8:30 am, followed by the Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
2. April 2024 Updates

- The Lenten retreat collection from last Saturday (3/22/24) and Sunday (3/23/24) was: $8,147.00
- The Holy Thursday (3/28/24) collection for Chicago Diocese Seminarian fund was: $2,772.00
- The Good Friday (3/29/24) collection for Holy Land was: $4,464.00
- Movie Night: We will have a movie night on Sunday, April 14th at 6:00 pm of the movie "The Hope" in our parish hall.
- Parenting in the Context of American Culture: There will be a class in our parish hall on Sunday, April 14th from 10:15 am to 11:45 am about the subject "Psychospiritual and Sociocultural aspects of Parenting in the context of American Culture" by Fr. Santhosh Adhikarathil. Fr. Santhosh is studying for a doctorate in spiritual counseling. Parents are encouraged to attend this class. The class will be in Malayalam.
- James Achan's Vacation: Achan will be in India from April 15th to May 16th. If anyone needs any letter from him, please do so before April 10th. Fr. Santhosh Adhikarathil will be here for a month to assist with parish activities while James achan is in India.
- Parking lot construction project update: We have received $127,592.00 from 120 families, including eight (8) sponsors, for this project. We kindly request the cooperation of all families for this project, only then can we start and complete this project. Everyone is well aware of the importance of this project.

- Parking lot construction project: The General Body approved to proceed with the parking lot construction project and raise the needed funds. The estimated cost for the 100-space parking lot exceeds $500,000. We kindly request your cooperation and prayers as we aim to complete the project before our Parish Feast/Perunnal. Please get in touch with our Kaikkarans (Trustees) if you are available to assist with the parking lot project.

- Those families who haven't yet contributed to Parish Hall and Church construction are expected to contribute more to this project.
- The rest of the families are requested to contribute a minimum of $1,000 or above for this project.
- Those contributing $3,000 or more towards this project would have their names written on the designated parking spots, and those sponsors who prefer not to display their names also have that option.
- There are other things to consider along with the parking lot project; create a walkway in front of the church for the feast procession, place a signboard with visible mass timing, and a playground.

- Church/Parish Hall Booking: To secure a booking for the church or parish hall for various purposes, individuals must complete the necessary form from the parish trustees' office.
- For year-end financial statements, please contact the Trustees.
- If you choose to make church payments via Zelle, please email payst.thomasgarland@gmail.com. In the email, include the purpose of the payment and your parish account number. This information will assist in identifying your payment and streamline the accounting process.
3. Upcoming Events
- The First Holy Communion for the children is on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
- Seize the unique opportunity to participate in the 2024 Syro Summit: "Christ is our Hope," designed for youth aged 21-35, in Baltimore from June 27-30. - St. Thomas Feast Day (Thirunnal): The main Thirunnal will be celebrated from Friday, July 5th through Sunday, July 7th.
4. IPSF 2024: Inter Parish Sports Festival
- IPSF 2024 in Houston: Mr. Cherian Churanadu and Mrs. Biji Edward have been appointed as coordinators for IPSF.
