2. May 2026 Updates
- Priestly Ordination of Dcn Mathew Jacob Pallivathukal: The Priestly Ordination Ceremony of Deacon Mathew Jacob Pallivathukal hosted by our parish was conducted very successfully and was truly a grace-filled, spiritual and joyful occasion. We were honored to receive many positive comments from the Bishop and several dignitaries regarding the excellent and flawless arrangements made for the celebration. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed their time, effort and support in making this sacred event truly memorable. Special note of gratitude and appreciation goes to our youth for their wholehearted cooperation and dedicated support throughout this event. May this Ordination inspire our younger generation and let us continue to pray for more vocations from our parish.
- 12th Grade Graduation & CCD Day: CCD Annual Day and 12th Grade Graduation Ceremony was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Please see 12th Grade Graduation pictures and CCD Day Pictures in these links.
- Vacation Bible School (VBS) 2026: VBS is a joyful and faith-filled experience that our children look forward to every year. Please register your kids for VBS. Please see VBS Flyer for more details.
- VBS Date: Monday, June 15, 2026 to Thursday, June 18, 2026, From 5 PM to 8:30 PM.
- Who can Participate: Pre K to Grade 8
- Volunteers: Grade 9 & Up
- Registration Fee: $50 Per Participant and $25 per Volunteers
- Registration is thru ParishOnNet Only. Registration Opens on May 17th and ends on June 7th.

- CCD Registration for 2026-2027: CCD Registration for 2026-2027 Academic year is in-Progress. Registration must be completed thru ParishOnNet. Please register your kids for CCD before the deadline.
- CCD Registration is Open to students from Pre-K through 12th grade.
- The registration fee is $80 per child.
- Please complete CCD Registration before Sunday, May 31.
- Those who have Pledge dues till 2025, may not be able to complete CCD Registration. Please use the 'Donate' button on ParishOnNet, input Pledge Due amount, Select Fund '4010-Annual Pledge' and submit pending pledge payment first. Once dues are paid, you should be able to complete CCD Registration.

- Final Installment of Parking Lot Project: Fourth and Final Payment of $200 K of our Parking Lot Project is due now. We are short of cash in our account. - St. Thomas Feast Announcements: Our 10 - day Parish Thirunaal (St. Thomas Feast) is scheduled for Friday, June 26th to Sunday, July 5th, 2026.
- Parichamuttukali : For this year's Parish Thirunaal, we are planning to do a 'Paricha Muttu Kali' at our Courtyard / Nadumuttam. Youth & Adult Men, who are interested to participate, Please reach out to Jeeva Raju or Sherly Shaji.
- St. Thomas Night Stage Show: During our Parish Feast, on Friday, July 3rd, we celebrate 'St. Thomas Night' after evening Holy Qurbana. Those who would like to participate in stage programs for St. Thomas Night, Please reach out to Aparna Sunny (Kids and Youth) or Sherly Shaji ( Adults).
- Mega Marggam Kali: We are planning to perform a Mega Margam Kali at our courtyard (Nadumuttam) during St. Thomas Feast. Encouraging all women of our Parish - Seniors, Adults, Young Adults, College and High School to participate and make this a real Mega event. Those who are interested, Please give your names to Sherly Shaji or Jeeva Raju.
- May - Month of Dedication to Blessed Virgin Mary: May is the month of devotion to Mother Mary. Please recite 'Maathaavinte Vanakka Maasam' Prayers at your home. Those who don't have the Vanakkamaasam book, Please refer the Vanakkamaasam Prayers at this Link.
- Syro-Malabar Jubilee Convention Updates:
- Jubilee Souvenir: As part of Jubilee celebrations, the Diocese will publish a Special Jubilee Souvenir, commemorating 25 years of our Eparchy and the Jubilee of Episcopal Ordination of Mar Jacob Angadiath.
- This is a wonderful opportunity to share your best wishes Or Promote your business through this meaningful publication.
- The Digital souvenir is expected to reach over 100,000 people.

- Publishing the Contributions List: As decided in 2025 General Body Meeting and as agreed by both the previous and current Parish Councils, we will be publishing the members list along with their contribution amounts on Parish Notice boards.

- Church Pledge Payments: We kindly request all parishioners with pending pledges to make their payments as soon as possible. The suggested annual pledge amount is $1,200 per family.
3. Upcoming Events
- Parish Feast / Thirunaal 2026 Updates: This year we will have 10 days Thirunaal Celebration, starting with Kodiyettu on Friday, June 26th to Sunday, July 5th. Cardinal Mar George Koovakad will be the main Celebrant on Saturday, July 4. This year we will have women Presudenthis. Stay tuned for more details.
- Annual Parish Picnic on Saturday, September 26: Our Annual Parish Picnic will be on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at One Eleven Ranch Park (2121 E Brand Rd, Garland, TX 75044). There will be food, games, and many other activities to engage with fellow parishioners. It's a great opportunity to meet and greet new members of our parish community. Please mark your calendars.

5. Additional Church Related Information
- Pre Wedding Requirements - Important Notice: As members of the church, the Sacrament of Matrimony is a sacred covenant that requires proper spiritual, canonical and pastoral preparations. In order to ensure all necessary requirements and paperworks are fulfilled in a timely manner, we request the cooperation of families involved.
- Families are requested to contact Vicar immediately after any Nuptial arrangements / Proposals are done.
- Bride-to-be / Groom-to-be is required to meet the Vicar in-person and fill the Pre-Nuptial Form.
- Active Membership in Parish is required for proceeding with Paper-work required for Marriage, Betrothal or Baptism.
- Marriage Preparation Course (PreCana) Completion Certificate is required.
- Baptism Certificate and Confirmation Certificate is required.
- If you need to announce the Marriage Banns before Betrothal, there is another specific form to be filled.
- Contact Information Update on ParishOnNet: Dear Parishioners, please ensure that your contact details—especially your phone number and address—are up to date on ParishOnNet.
